Was ist eine Norm?

Normen dienen der Vereinheitlichung von Vorgängen und dokumentieren das Ergebnis von Verhandlungen und Absprachen in Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Technik und Verwaltung.

Wie finde ich Normen?

Im Online-Katalog der Universitätsbibliothek können einzelne Normen recherchiert werden, z.B. DIN 1055-3. Ebenso verhält es sich mit dem Gemeinsamen Verbundkatalog (GVK).

Das vollständige Deutsche Normenwerk halten die DIN-Normen-Auslegestellen bereit. Hier werden sämtliche gültige DIN-Normen und Normentwürfe zur Einsichtnahme zur Verfügung gestellt.
