International Applicants
Leuphana University especially welcomes foreign applications!
Students who wish to complete a bachelor’s degree at Leuphana College but who do not have a German university entrance certificate must apply through the Application Services for International Students, Uni-Assist, in Berlin.
This applies to both foreign and German applicants. Foreign students holding a German school degree that qualifies for university studies in Germany as well as students who have successfully passed an assessment test at a German preparatory college (Studienkolleg) may apply directly to Leuphana University. These students are subject to the same application and admissions procedures as German applicants.
Central Application in Berlin: Uni-Assist
Application documents from applicants for the bachelor's program who gained their university entrance qualification abroad (A-level, high school diploma, baccalauréat, gaokao, etc.) are pre-checked by the Central Application Services for International Students, Uni-Assist, in Berlin. Pre-checking includes checking for completeness of the application documents and checking the applicants' eligibility to study their chosen disciplines at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. For providing this pre-checking service, applicants are charged a service fee.
An initial non-binding assessment of your eligibility to study in Germany can be obtained from the Anabin database.
If you have any questions regarding the processing of your application at Uni-Assist, you are asked to contact only Uni-Assist. Please see below for contact details.
