Business Psychology minor

Psychology is the science of experience and behavior. Psychologists use methods from the natural and social sciences to search for patterns of psychic functions and processes. This includes perception, memory, learning, thinking, attentiveness, emotions, motivations, communication and motor skills. Business psychologists investigate these functions in an economic context. The business psychology minor provides you with information about psychological processes and patterns, while informing you about the foundations of psychological method. You are introduced to the psychological manner of thinking and made aware of how to recognise psychological patterns of experience and behavior. You learn how the field of psychology works, how to ask focused questions, how to distinguish between serious and irrelevant psychological responses or processes, and how to find qualified, expert answers from professional psychologists.

Please note

The Business Psychology minor is offered in the German language and is thus directed at prospective students with a good command of German. The programme’s German-language web pages provide detailed information needed on the content of the course and application procedures.
