The Opening Week 2009

ARTotale—this year's Opening Week, from October 1-9, revolves around art and communication.  Sharp wits and creativity are required as teams of beginning students participate in a singular art event: around 35 internationally renown street artists have been invited to "take over" the city of Lüneburg with their art works.  First semester students will be asked to transform the artists' communication concepts into the language of film.

You will be supported by countless film professionals.  At the end of Opening Week, the finished video clips will be published though an internet media platform and a jury of experts will select the best contributions.  

The events of Opening Week will be covered by the student reporters of the Opening Week newspaper and published in special supplement of the Lüneburg  Landeszeitung.
