The Minor Sustainability in Humanities

The minor Sustainability in Humanities confronts future oriented problems, analyses the consequences of global change, and presents sustainable solutions.
In order to be able to explain the demands of a globalized world, the minor employs methods of systems analysis and future oriented research in its curriculum in order to examine the various scientific disciplines in a trained and practical manner. A specially chosen global problem field is chosen as the students' research object so that the interdependencies can be uncovered and investigated from the perspective of various different specialized disciplines. In order to evaluate and apply the results in a regional context, the case studies are always situated within a specific research environment. With the project thesis, written in your fifth semester, you will be able to put your concept of sustainable development in concrete terms, and thereby open up a bridge between theory and practice.
