Leuphana PLUS

Leuphana PLUS has the following format: a company or cultural institution cooperate to create an several months long internship with students. The interns work on a practical question that has relevance for the internship partner and speaks to the students' own specific interests.

The goal is for students to work actively on a well-defined assignment searching for potential solutions in the form of a case study. In their investigations, they will combine the academic aspects of their studies with the requirements of practical work. Students will receive scholarly support from professors at Leuphana University, who are available as permanent contact partners.

At the conclusion of their internship students will present the results of their case study to the organization or firm. This study can serve as an important foundation for the final thesis.

The program supports students and their internship partners intensively in the preparation, implementation and review of the internship phase, as well as during their work on the case study. In addition to that Leuphana University Lüneburg offers students a support program involving coaching, workshops and seminars to promote core competences.

In this manner Leuphana PLUS creates a framework that allows all participants to acquire valuable insight and knowledge.
