Sustainability Research Initiative

If you are interested in learning more about the questions and challenges of sustainable development, necessary societal change or environment and nature conservation, the Master’s program Sustainability Sciences of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences might be of interest to you.

Because of the inter- and transdisciplinary character of the teaching and research context of this master’s in sustainable development your own disciplinary background can easily be made to come into play. The Master’s program is open to students from a number of different disciplinary fields. Please don’t hesitate to ask us more about this program.

Major Sustainability Sciences

A special characteristic of the program in Sustainabilty Sciences is the equal emphasis on the sustainable natural sciences and the sustainable human sciences. The aim is to examine social-ecological systems from a interdisciplinary yet discipline-specific perspective.
