Sebastian Ross is a research assistant and joined the Centre for Sustainability Management (CSM) in December 2011.

He coordinates the International Leadership Training (ILT) Sustainability Management. The ILT Sustainability Management, offered by “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) GmbH and realised in cooperation with Centre for Sustainability Management, provides training for professionals and executives in companies and institutions from developing and emerging countries, in order to initiate and manage a change process for sustainable development. The main focus of the program is to pass on activity-oriented knowledge on sustainability management and to empower the participants to integrate environmental, social and economic aspects in their organizations. The CSM as specialized partner is responsible both for the contents and seminars during the theoretical training phase and for the comprehensive transfer project coaching process, including project management and individual coaching sessions.

Sebastian Ross studied Environmental and Sustainability Sciences with a focus on sustainability management and environmental chemistry at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.

In 2011, Sebastian Ross worked as research assistant for an Indian consultancy in the fields of renewable energies, urban planning and resource management in New Delhi. During his studies he completed several internships in Germany and abroad: In Hamburg, Mr. Ross worked for a consultancy on business ethics and corporate social responsibility where he developed training materials on CSR and ISO 26000. Additional internships have led him to the Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva, Israel and into the environmental management department of the Deutsche Telekom AG.
