INFU - Institute for Environ- mental Communication

For more than 15 years, contributions to theory building and professional-ization of sustainability communication have been the focus of research and teaching in the Institute for Environmental and Sustainability Communication (Institut für Umweltkommunikation, INFU). Inter- and transdisciplinary processes have a central role in these endeavours. Education, participation, policy making and environmental informatics are the four research themes of the Institute. The work of the Institute aims to advance individual, institutional and collective competencies for shaping the future in the context of the challenges of global environmental change and sustainable development.
