Prof. Dr. Jürgen Deller
Goal of the study "Identification of competencies for HR Management in Germany" is the definition of competencies which are prerequisites for successful future HR Management in German organizations. A first competency model has been deduced from these interviews. The subjective appraisal of the different stakeholdergroups are supplemented by a normative perspective, i.e., research that studies which HR practices contribute to organizational success. Both perspectives are integrated into the competency model.
This study provides first empirical evidence for strategic HR management in Germany. The odel can be used for personnel selection and -development as well as for adjustment of the academic training of future HR personnel.
