Leisure & culture programs
We – that is an experienced and competent team of teachers and students – are at your disposal for all matters involving the courses of the Summer University and living in Lüneburg. We also want to offer you an attractive leisure and culture program.
First of all, you will explore the University and the City of Lüneburg under competent guidance – please bring proper walking shoes! Afterwards we would like to show you the beautiful North of Germany. During day trips at the weekend you will discover big cities such as Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover, and Lübeck or relax on the beaches of the North and the Baltic Seas.
Lectures given by Lüneburg lecturers on aspects of culture, politics, law, environment, business and science will give you an insight into current issues, events and discussions in Germany.
You will also experience the German culture by visiting theater performances and concerts in Lüneburg and Hamburg as well as by watching a series of contemporary German movies.
We also guarantee relaxation and fun: You can either participate in sports such as beach volleyball, soccer or frisbee or simply enjoy the evenings in good company in one of the many local pubs and bars.
