Conference Transcultural Science

„From internationalisation of higher education to transcultural science”
16. - 18. September 2010
The three-day conference provides a platform for a scientfic dialogue regarding international and transcultural scientific development as a consequence of globalisation and the need to develop quantitative and qualitative sustainable scientific cooperations.
Concerning future developments within the european research field and innovation politics the main focus is directed towards the global cooperation of scientists in order to enhance accesibility relating to increasing knowledge of Germany and the whole european research landscape.
The aim of our conference will be to provide encouragements in order to create avenues of thoughts in a more bold and stringent way, highlighting transcultural work as a such.
In this context we seek to benefit a.o. of the professional knowledge of the scientists of the Maria-Goeppert-Mayer-program and the international women´s university (Expo 2000) who were contributing to this development in order to create a conducive research and teaching culture of the 21th century.
Within the last years scientists were developing approaches in order to overcome the cooperative paradigma as well as engaging themselves in a global scientific development.
These kind of theories, gaining more and more attention and encouraging discourses about a sustainable transcultural scientific development will be the basis for discussion within the conference.
