Fellowships

The Center for the Study of Democracy offers short-term PhD fellowships to students of partner universities as well as students of other foreign universities for a study abroad period in Lüneburg.

Each PhD fellowship amounts to 1.000 Euro per month for a research period from 2-6 months.

Applicants should send us the following documents:

• Application form fully completed and signed by the applicant and the home institution
• Detailed study or research proposal
• Official academic transcript showing marks that are above average
• A letter of recommendation from an academic advisor

There is no official application deadline. However, applications should be sent no later than three months prior to the semester or envisaged research period.
