IKKK researchers at the 10th conference of the European Sociological Association

Four IKKK researchers from the Sociology of Arts department will be presenting papers at the 10th conference of the European Sociological Association (ESA):

 

As part of the Research Stream “The Sustainable City and the Arts” convened by Prof. Dr. Volker Kirchberg and Prof. Dr. Laura Verdi:

  • Prof. Dr. Volker Kirchberg: "The Sustainability Of The Arts In Urban Social Movements: Case Studies In Hamburg, Germany"
  • Dr. Sacha Kagan: "Some roles of artists and inter-/trans-disciplinary projects in the emergence of sustainable creative cities"
  • Annette Grigoleit and Julia Hahn: "2-3 Straßen (2-3 Streets): A Project Between ‘Creative’ Urban Development, Art And A Possible Link To (Un)Sustainability"

 

As part of the Research Network Sociology of the Arts:

  • Prof. Dr. Volker Kirchberg: "Opening Up Museums To Society. A Typology Of Public Orientation"
  • Dr. Martin Anton Tröndle and Prof. Dr. Volker Kirchberg (presented by Dr. Tröndle): "Is This Art? A Transdisciplinary Study On The Decision Art / Non-Art In The Reception Of Nedko Solakov’s Work “A Label Level”"
