Lüneburg Workshop in Economics, February 23-24, 2017
We are pleased to announce the 2017 Workshop on Microeconomics hosted by
the Institute of Economics, Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. The
purpose of the workshop is to bring together young scholars working in all areas
of labor economics, personnel economics, behavioral economics, managerial
economics and other related fields, to create a network which will benefit all
participants and to stimulate research in these fields. We welcome both
empirical and theoretical contributions.
Professor Dr. Karlhans Sauernheimer (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz)
will deliver a Keynote Speech on Thursday evening.
The workshop will be held at Leuphana University on February 23-24, 2017.
There will be an additional social program on Friday evening for those
participants travelling back on Saturday. On behalf of the organizers Boris
Hirsch, Mario Mechtel, and Christian Pfeifer, we would like to invite you to come
to Lüneburg and attend the workshop.
Deadline for the submission of extended abstracts or full papers is December 21,
2016. Preference will be given to full papers. Please send your contribution as a
PDF to firstname.lastname@example.org. Authors will be notified no later than January 16,
2017 as to whether their contribution has been accepted for the workshop.
We will (prospectively) charge a participation fee of 80 Euro that will cover coffee
and drinks, lunches on Thursday and Friday, and the conference dinner on
Thursday evening. More information will be available at the institute’s website
