SUMMARY:Unconscious Bias II
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the event is to provide academics with a deeper unde
 rstanding of the impact of unconscious bias on their research, collaboratio
 n and decision-making processes. The workshop uses interactive exercises, d
 iscussions and case studies to raise participants' awareness of the subtle 
 influences of unconscious bias in academic contexts and to provide them wit
 h concrete strategies for identifying and minimising these biases.\n\n\n\nS
 pecifically, it addresses\n\n- The manifestation of unconscious bias in the
  workplace\n\n- The resulting social privileges for dominant groups in the 
 organisation\n\n- Analysis of behavioural patterns using a video\n\n - Avoi
 dance strategies\n\n- Strategies and actions to reduce unconscious bias at 
 both organisational and individual levels\n\nPlease note that participation
  in the workshop requires attendance of the keynote presentation on 1st Dec
