The balanced researcher - From understanding stress to building healthy habits

The postdoctoral phase is an exciting and challenging time. You likely invest a lot of energy and passion in your work, and there are other parts to your life too. This workshop series will equip you with the essential strategies for beating the “busyness to burnout pipeline”.

We will:

  • Examine how stress unfolds on our body and mind
  • Jointly take the first steps towards building healthy habits
  • Discuss the central role of clarity and focus on making difficult (& potentially stressful) decisions
  • Learn the most useful strategies thousands of postdocs have found helpful in balancing the many demands on their time

Dr. Tobias Rasse combines in this workshop series insights on how our brain works with his own practical experience as a postdoc, group leader, and consultant. Look forward as he will apply lessons learned upon guiding and coaching teams of mountaineers to your postdoc journey.
