Support for Young Researchers

Alongside teaching and research, a key task of every university is to support young scientists and researchers. This reflects the university's institutional responsibility for the overall development and career of researchers. In its strategy, Leuphana University of Lüneburg pursues the goal of encouraging young researchers to be independent as early as possible. This is why Leuphana offers its researchers various forms of support to enable them to make the best possible use of opportunities and freedoms available to them in this phase and to plan their career paths creatively and innovatively.

GradSkills – Skills and career development

A comprehensive range of training programs for generic skills is available at Leuphana, offering researchers of all qualification levels courses that prepare them for careers inside and outside academia. These also include specific mentoring services for women researchers.
