Financing your Masters Studies

Taking up a Masters degree programme often presents a financial challenge if you have to pay for your own living and studies abroard. We'll give an overview of the costs of studying at Leuphana Graduate School and show some options for financing your studies.

Costs

Semester Contribution

For the winter semester 2020/2021, the following contributions are payable at Leuphana University of Lüneburg for:

  • Studentenwerk contribution: 106.00 Euro

  • Student body contribution: 186,35 Euro (includes "Lower Saxony Ticket" = € 167,35, incl. Kulturticket, city bike and € 19.00 contribution towards student council and administration)
  • Contribution towards administrative expenses 75.00 Euro
  • Total: 367,35 Euro

These fees are payable upon registration or re-registration for the following semester. The amounts should be transferred to

Jobs and Internships

Jobs at Graduate School

In most cases, jobs as a student assistant at the university can be easily combined with your studies. At the Graduate School we also often seek support from SHKs - student assistants. If you are interested in one of the many different activities in the university context, take a look at the jobs@leuphana website or look out for the notices on the "Red Boards".

Jobs and Internships

Through Leuphana's Career Service you can find out about current offers for jobs that will help you finance your studies. It also offers internships and trainee positions in the network of the Alumni Support Association.
