Marco Warsitzka is a PostDoc at the chair for Social- and Political Psychology (SPP) and member of the ‚Negotiation Research Group‘ (NRG) at the Institute of Psychology of Leuphana University of Lüneburg. Marco Warsitzka works in a research project funded by the Hans-Böckler Foundation. This project seeks to develop and evaluate a mindset-oriented negotiation training for the labor-management context.
In his fundamental research, Marco Warsitzka examines parties’ management of complexity in negotiations (e.g., cognitive processes in negotiations with multiple issues). In his applied research, he focuses on negotiations in the context of economic transformation processes (e.g., collective bargaining). Particularly, he is interested in (personality) traits of successful negotiators.
