Applications for research and teaching awards until November 25

2020-11-23

The Faculty of Business and Economics annually awards research and teaching prizes for outstanding engagement of young scientists. Up to five research prizes are awarded for outstanding publications and two teaching prizes for excellent teaching achievements. The prizes are endowed with 300€ each.

All junior researchers who are employed at the faculty as junior professors (teaching awards), staff members or scholarship holders are eligible to apply for these awards. External doctoral students can also apply, but for administrative reasons cannot receive the prize money.

All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply by 25 November 2020 (cut-off deadline):

  • Research awards: Report on your publications of the previous academic year (October 2019 to November 2020) in the online survey. The publication should also be sent by email to Maike Hugendick (maike.hugendick@leuphana.de).
  • Teaching awards: Report on your own course of the previous academic year (winter semester 2019/2020 and summer semester 2020) by email. Please include a short description of the teaching concept (1-2 pages), explaining the methods, content and special aspects of your teaching, and why your course should receive a teaching award. Please also attach the course evaluation (LVE) and a current CV. Please send these documents to Maike Hugendick (maike.hugendick@leuphana.de).

The awarding of the prizes is expected to take place in a digital ceremony on December 17 from 6 p.m. Prof. David Loschelder (david.loschelder@leuphana.de) is available for further questions.
