Equal Opportunities Fund of the Faculty of Management and Technology
- Goal:Promotion of measures in the context of gender-specific choice of field of study; equality and diversity within the faculty. Besides the promotion of measures, the aim is to make visible existing and newly conceived activities in these areas. Furthermore, the faculty strives to promote a culture of participation across the breadth of its disciplines with these means.
- Funding Scope: 5.000€ per year
- Application procedure: Applications must be submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Management and Technology at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de before the start of a measure. Eligibility for funding will be checked by the Equal Opportunities Officer and the Dean's Office and feedback will be provided in a timely manner.

Promotion of activities in the context of internationalization, esp. within the framework of the faculty's internationalization strategy
- Goal: Promotion of appropriate measures
- Funding Scope: max. 50% of the costs, maximum budget of 30,000€ per year
- Application procedure: Applications must be submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Management and Technology at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de before the start of a measure. Eligibility for funding will be checked by the Commission for Internationalization.

Promotion of guest lecturers / international exchange
- Goal: Applications from the middle of the faculty in the funding line "Support for foreign guest lecturers for teaching activities at German universities" Model A are supported. The programme aims to promote the internationalization of German universities and to strengthen the international dimension in teaching.
- Funding Scope: assumption of the measure's own share; budget 15,000€ per year / until 2023.
- Application procedure: Informal applications including a financing plan must be submitted to the DAAD in the Dean's Office of Faculty of Management and Technology at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de before the application process begins. The Dean's Office or the Commission for Internationalization will decide in a timely manner.

Funding of travel expenses for guest researchers / international exchange in the field of digitisation
- Goal: If applications via the DAAD are unsuccessful and travel expenses of guest researchers contributing to the profile topic area Digitisation at the research centre DT are involved, travel expenses of the persons concerned will be covered upon application.
- Funding Scope: Payment of travel costs of guest researchers; budget 10,000€ per year / until at least 2021.
- Application procedure: Applications must be submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Management and Technology at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de before the start. The Dean's Office or the Commission for Internationalization will decide in a timely manner.

Proofreading / Translation costs
- Goal: To support the publication of journal articles in English language. Thus, on the one hand, international visibility shall be increased. On the other hand, it is intended to encourage "scholarly activities", which are aimed at the standard 15 "faculty qualification" in the context of the AACSB accreditation of the faculty and should have a positive influence on the corresponding indicator. As a guideline, 75 articles per year (with 75 professorships) are assumed, each of which will receive a 600€ grant for academic proofreading.
- Scope of Funding: 600€ for 75 articles per year for academic proofreading, 45.000€ per year until 2022

Travel expenses for external reviewers during doctoral procedures
- Goal: If travel expenses for external reviewers are incurred during the doctoral process, these will be covered upon application.
- Funding Scope: Payment of travel costs for external reviewers up to a maximum of 400€.
- Application procedure: Applications should be submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Management and Technology at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de.

Support of networking and transfer activities / risk protection
- Goal: Risk insurance, pre-financing of conferences; amount for impact and transfer. The Dean's Office takes over/participates in the pre-financing of conferences and larger events with funds from the steering reserve.
- Funding Scope: no subsidy, risk coverage. Grants can be applied for via the Faculty Council if necessary.

Granting of projects from the control reserve
- Goal:A subsidy for projects from the control reserve
- Funding Scope:individual
- Application procedure: A grant from the faculty can only be awarded if
(a) the grant is applied for in time to allow the Faculty Council to deal with the application before spending the requested funds begins
(b) the application is accompanied by a detailed statement of the planned costs. In principle, only costs which (i) can be clearly allocated to the project and (ii) are paid via Leuphana cost centres are to be considered.
c) Furthermore, all funded projects or measures are expected to contribute to the perception of the faculty. For this reason, the allocation of the requested funds is generally only made after a corresponding measure, for example a (press) release for the internal and/or external communication of the faculty, has been submitted.

Takeover of student assistants for selection procedures
- Goal:Financing of 1 HiWi hour per 10 valid applications for the pre-selection of applications for the Master's program in Management and Engineering.
- Funding Scope: In the M&E selection procedure, funding of 1 student assistant hour per major can be applied for per 10 valid applications.
- Application procedure: Informal applications should be submitted to the Dean of Studies Graduate School or at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de.

Printing costs written exams
- Goal:Printing costs for large exams (<100) can be handled by the Dean's Office.
- Funding Scope:individual, amounts starting at 100€; printing costs for smaller exams or similar are to be paid for through the personal budget of the respective teacher.
- Application procedure: Applications should be submitted to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Management and Technology at dekanat.wirtschaft@leuphana.de.
