DAAD Language Test
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REGISTER FOR THE DAAD LANGUAGE TEST?
You should register at least three weeks before your DAAD application deadline. If you do not register with the Language Centre by the deadline, a test appointment cannot be guaranteed.
How do I register for the DAAD test?
You have two options:
- Option 1: If you attended an English language course in the Language Center in the last four semesters, contact the respective instructor directly.
- Option 2: In case you have not attended an English language course in the Language Center, contact the administrative assistant Sonja Tommrich.
How does the DAAD language test work?
The test takes about two hours and is divided into three parts:
- the placement test in the SLZ
- a brief essay
- an oral exam (about 20 minutes)
Please note:
Take the placement test before you sign up for the written and oral test.
