  • devise and work on learning objectives for the semester, supplement language courses or prepare for an internationally recognized language certificate;
  • use general and specific materials to learn a new language or to reactivate and improve language skills;
  • use learning programs or take online courses on the computer;
  • watch movies in the original language in the video corner, and make use of a wide range of CDs, audios and videos dealing with the language, literature, and local culture.

Café der Sprachen

In our online language café, students, who want to improve their language, connect and chat with other learners and native speakers.
Usually a language café session starts with some small talk and a cup of coffee or tea. Each session is hosted by a student tutor, who has prepared some weekly topics to talk about and some games to play. The aim is to have fun while talking in the specific language, so don’t hesitate to join even if you’re a beginner.
Even though the regular semester isn’t taking place, this is your chance to be part of an online intercultural get-together whether you are a native speaker or a language learner. Just grab a cup of coffee, join the zoom-event and have a casual chat in your favourite (foreign) language. Write us an email to slz@leuphana.de to get the zoom-invitation or check out our myStudy event: https://mystudy.leuphana.de/veranstaltungInformation/show?veranstaltung_id=1104039.
