diip: digitisation, interactive, for professionals

The continuing education course “diip” is modular and has a large online learning component. Students can “digitally learn about the digital”, as not only is digital transformation the subject of the course, but the associated technology is also used for the learning process methodically.

The project is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Federal State of Lower Saxony.

The continuing education course to be developed is to focus both on the top areas of university research and on issues surrounding digital transformation that are relevant in the everyday personal and professional lives of the target groups. To identify relevant topics, the project is looking to establish a partnership with the Lüneburg-Wolfsburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The course is aimed primarily at non-traditional potential students who work as managers or staff at small and medium-sized businesses in Lower Saxony and are seeking to develop the skills and expertise required to play an active role in digital transformation in their company. Students can obtain credit points that can later be counted towards a university degree. Successful completion of at least three “diip” modules also entitles students to a “Digital change manager” university certificate.
