The EU's funding program for research and innovation

On June 15, 2021, the official starting signal was given for the new EU research framework programme Horizon Europe, which, as the successor to Horizon 2020, will cover the entire chain from basic research to innovation to the market with a volume of almost 100 billion euros in the period 2021 to 2027. Horizon Europe aims to make Europe greener and more digital, as well as more innovative, resilient and participatory.

♦ Online information event of the National Contact Point (NCP) Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Actions on MSCA4Ukraine in Horizon Europe::

  • On October 6, 2022, from 11-12, the NCP Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions will host an information session on the MSCA4Ukraine program. This porgram offers special grants to support researchers from Ukraine to continue their work at academic and non-academic institutions in EU Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe. Participants will receive practical information on the eligibility criteria, how to prepare an application and how to find a host institution, and will have the opportunity to ask questions. ♦ Online seminar of the EU Commission on the principles of lump sum funding in Horizon Europe::

  • On October 20, 2022, from 10-12, the EU Commission will provide information on lump sum funding in Horizon Europe entitled "Lump Sum Funding in Horizon Europe: How does it work? How to write a proposal?". Experts will give practical tips on how to submit a proposal and report on their experiences of implementing this form of funding to date, which will increasingly be used. Registration is not required. The event will be broadcast on this website of the EU Commission.
