Inhalt: This course is appropriate for students who will after their studies pursue a career in the digital economy or aim at continuing with a more career oriented focus (e.g., applying for an MBA rather than an M.A. or M.Sc. program). It is suitable for students thinking about starting their own (social) digital business, or are interested in working for a start-up, or a more intrapreneurial department within a company in more traditional industries facing the challenges of digitalization.

Inhalt: In this module we will consider how platforms have become key to economies today. We will explore the emergence of platforms, their 'discovery' in economics, their data economies and business models, and discuss key issues such as labour an their impact on cultural production.
