Organisational Sustainability Transformation Management and Entrepreneurship (Vorlesung)

Inhalt: This course examines what can be understood as a sustainability transformation from the perspective of a single organisation, including its business environment. We will discuss questions such as: Where do incremental sustainability transformations end and where do disruptive ones begin? Who initiates, drives, and organizes sustainability transformations? What stages and methods can be distinguished in such a transformation process? The seminar aims to create an overview of different understandings of sustainability transitions and transformations in relevant research literature. Entrepreneurial and management theories and approaches will support the analysis of corporate practices, including businesses that are currently undergoing a radical sustainability transformation. From these analyses, conclusions will be drawn for the management of sustainability transformations of companies. ---Voluntary--- For German speaking participants who do not have much prior knowledge in sustainability management, I recommend to register for the "Brückenmodul" and to attend the online presentation and watch the Moodle video that aim to provide an overview: "Das Brückenmodul dient Studierenden aller Studienrichtungen außerhalb der Umwelt- und Nachhaltigkeitswissenschaften als Einführung Themenbereiche des unternehmerischen Nachhaltigkeitsmanagements.
