Employer Attractiveness and Retention in Change (Seminar)

Inhalt: Seminar on change processes with a focus on employer attractiveness, employer branding, and employee retention from a change perspective. The focus is on where change takes place in organizations (strategy, structures, systems, processes, behavior) and how these three topics are triggers, subjects, or consequences of change. The seminar combines theoretical principles (e.g., self-determination theory, motivation-volition-performance model, psychological contract, signaling, job embeddedness) with practical applications (case studies, action roadmaps, measurement concepts). Key topics (selection) - Employee value proposition and the journey of applicants and employees as levers for change - Onboarding, psychological contract, and avoiding early turnover - Work and role design, flexible models, and hybrid collaboration - Leadership, culture, psychological safety, and internal branding - Measuring impact: suitable metrics such as willingness to recommend, time to full productivity, retention rates, resignations - Fairness, transparency, reputation, and social responsibility Seminar zu Veränderungsprozessen mit Fokus auf Arbeitgeberattraktivität, Employer Branding und Mitarbeiterbindung aus der Change-Perspektive. Im Zentrum steht, wo in Organisationen Veränderungen stattfinden (Strategie, Strukturen, Systeme, Prozesse, Verhalten) und wie diese drei Themen Auslöser, Gegenstand oder Folge von Wandel sind. Das Seminar verbindet theoretische Grundlagen (z. B. Selbstbestimmungstheorie, Motivation-Volition-Performanz-Modell, psychologischer Vertrag, Signaling, Job Embeddedness) mit praxisnahen Anwendungen (Fallbeispiele, Maßnahmen-Roadmaps, Messkonzepte). Schwerpunkte (Auswahl) - Arbeitgeberversprechen („Employee Value Proposition“) und die Journey von Bewerbenden und Beschäftigten als Hebel für Veränderung - Onboarding, psychologischer Vertrag und Vermeidung von Frühfluktuation - Arbeits- und Rollengestaltung, flexible Modelle und hybride Zusammenarbeit - Führung, Kultur, psychologische Sicherheit und internes Branding - Wirkung messen: geeignete Kennzahlen wie Weiterempfehlungsbereitschaft, Zeit bis zur vollen Produktivität, Bindungsquoten, Kündigungen - Fairness, Transparenz, Reputation und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung

Marketing Theories and Sustainable Consumption (Seminar)

Inhalt: The seminar introduces marketing theories that explain consumer behavior and decision-making, with a particular focus on their relevance for sustainable consumption. Students examine how these theoretical frameworks can be used to foster more sustainable consumer behavior and to identify drivers as well as barriers of sustainable choices. An additional emphasis is placed on critical reflection: students analyze the usefulness and limitations of different theories and discuss the ethical and practical implications of applying marketing concepts to sustainability challenges.

Multi-level perspective and transition paths: the fashion industry (Seminar)

Inhalt: In this seminar we will discuss transition paths in the (fast) fashion industry. The course will use the multi-level perspective (MLP) to explore whether and how systemic change towards more sustainability can be achieved. We will explore possibilities and obstacles to responsible innovation, taking fashion as a particular field as an example. Groups will focus on a particular transition pathway and in the final session we will 'build' a transition.
