New publication possibilities with PubData
2023-06-02
University members can now publish not only research data but also their own publications via PubData – Leuphana's institutional repository.
This service for publications is currently focused on so-called alternative publication formats that have been created in the context of research, teaching and studies at Leuphana. These include, among others, videos, podcasts, posters, presentations, teaching-learning materials, lectures. Student publications are also given a cosy home at PubData and can be published via the repository with a publication recommendation from the respective reviewers or lecturers. More Details about publishing can be found on this info page.
On PubData, the submitted materials are made accessible in the sense of open access, i.e. they are available worldwide permanently and free of charge. Furthermore, the publications receive a digital object identifier (DOI) making them permanently citable. An increased visibility is also ensured: The publications are publicly searchable via the PubData catalogue and are automatically indexed in other databases and search engines.
Just log in to PubData with your Leuphana account and get started!
The repository is hosted and continuously developed by the MIZ. It is expected that from autumn 2023, literature publications (e.g. books, journal articles or university publications) can be published on PubData as first or parallel publications.
The PubData team is excited to give visibility to Leuphana's diverse output and is there to help with publishing: pubdata@leuphana.de
