Photo Lab

We - the team members of the photo laboratory - are students and alumni of Leuphana University of Lüneburg. We acquired our knowledge of photography during our studies here at the university, in self-study or through relevant training. After taking part in a course, some of us, together with experienced team members, enthusiastically took over the course leadership in the following semester. We are always happy to welcome new team members!

Every semester, our programme includes analogue and digital photography. Introduction to the subject matter is provided in the "Darkroom Permit" course, the workshops "Photography for Beginners" and "Picture Editing for Beginners". After the introductory course, you can continue the darkroom work in the "open lab" with our support. We offer further workshop training and theme evenings with changing focal points, such as portrait photography or photo rights.

NEW! From winter semester 11/12 onwards, the photo lab will be one of the institutions that are co-financed by tuition fees. This will enable us to offer the entire photo lab programme free of charge to students of Leuphana University of Lüneburg in the future. There will be a charge based on cost-sharing for materials provided.

Every participant to the Darkroom Permit class must bring an exposed film.

Lecturer's notes are provided for every workshop.
