25. & 26.11.2021 // Group Coaching, Career Field Specification, Mentoring and Success Teams

Group coaching creates space for reflection on one's own professional goals, the specific targets within the mentoring process, one's own abilities as well as development potentials. In addition to developing one's own competence profile and identifying professional goals, the coaching helps prepare for mentoring in tandem with an experienced mentor.

In addition, there is an introduction to the peer mentoring format success teams and a division into the respective groups. Success teams aim to systematically work on personal and professional goals together with peers. A success team is thus understood as a working group and not as a self-help group.

Speaker: Dr. Anja Thiem, Dr. Annemarie Burandt and Dr. Beate Friedrich

Competence Days / Summer School

July 13-15, 2021 // Summer School

In cooperation with the Graduate School, the mentoring team is offering competence days (summer school) for young female researchers from July 13th to 15th, 2021. Current information can be found here.

The summer school for female PhD students and postdoc researchers at Leuphana University is dedicated to the topics of career planning and career development from a gender-specific perspective. For academic and professional success it is important to deal with personal career options early on, to establish networks and contacts and to develop not only academic but also interdisciplinary skills - regardless of whether you would like to work in the academic or non-academic field. The workshops will take place online and in part also on campus.
