Bridging Programme

The Bridging Programme allows refugees with an academic background or academic ambition to take up to two courses (modules) per semester and complete them with an examination. Regular attendance is required. Attendance, academic achievements and credits acquired will be documented in a certificate.

Courses will be taught in either English or German. Applicants must prove sufficient knowledge of written and oral English or German (at least B1 level). Applicants without proof of sufficient language competencies must take a language placement test at the University.

Participation in the Bridging Programme is free of charge. The University cannot provide a semester ticket nor reimburse any travel costs.

Integral part of the OLH is the buddy program. Upon request, each participant will be assigned a student buddy, who provides advice and support throughout the semester.
