Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently a hot topic in society. Universities are also adapting their work to reflect this. Leuphana University Lüneburg is using the opportunities offered by its unique study model to equip all students with comprehensive AI skills. To this end, it has developed the six-year ‘Leuphana AI Campus (LAICA)’ project and applied for €6 million in funding. The Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education is supporting the project as one of 80 selected individual and joint projects.
