Information on the control of 3G evidence in (teaching) events

Dear professors and lecturers,
Due to a persistent incidence of more than 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the district of Lüneburg has published a new general decree. According to this, from now on it is necessary to check the 3G evidence at attendance events on campus not only randomly, but systematically and actively for all participants in lectures and events.
The controls in lecture halls 1-4 and in the auditorium will continue to be carried out by an external service provider. Due to the lack of other practicable alternatives, the controls in all other event rooms must continue to be carried out by the lecturers. We ask for your continued support in this regard. On behalf of all members of the Presidential Board, I would like to thank you very much for your understanding.
In order to keep the additional effort caused by checking the 3G evidence small, we continue to recommend all lecturers to check the evidence digitally using the CovPass-Check App of the Robert Koch Institute instead of analog checks. With the CovPass-Check App, which you can easily download from the respective app stores of your smartphone, a control of the proofs is very simple, very fast, very reliable and data protection compliant.

To support the lecturers in checking the 3G evidence, all students are accordingly requested to also submit their evidence digitally or with QR code if possible.
Please also ensure that all participants in your course log in using the QR code when entering the course room and log out again when leaving the room.
