The diversity of digital teaching

Digital teaching at Leuphana is more than just traditional e-learning.

This understanding of digital teaching recognises the wide range of opportunities such that the benefits of digital teaching can be harvested productively. Digital teaching scenarios start with attendance teaching which can be designed (inter-)actively using digital media and tools (e.g. classroom response systems such as Pingo or Clicker). They range from digital enrichment scenarios, i.e. attendance offers using only organisational online information, to optional supplementary digital materials or mandatory digital materials. In addition, these also comprise blended learning scenarios combining online and attendance phases in order to achieve integration. Finally, almost entirely virtual events (e.g. MOOCs) can be used in accordance with virtualisation concepts.
