SUMMARY:Assessment in the digital and AI age
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is part of the workshop series “KI-Kompetenzen fü
r Lehrende”.\n\nHow do we design exams – and why? Juggling examination regu
lations, the necessity to teach certain skills, creativity and the availabi
lity of generative AI, this is not an easy question to answer.\n\nIn this s
ession, we will ask ourselves what constitutes a good exam. How do we genui
nely test exactly what we want to teach? After an introduction on examinati
on didactics, we will take a look at different exam scenarios, including an
d excluding the use of generative AI, and discuss whether an exam can be “A
I-proof”.\n\nIdeas on how to implement the requirements of examination regu
lations in various scenarios will be discussed, and we will talk about how
to decide which role generative AI should play in an exam.\n\nThe event is
aimed at all lecturers; no prior knowledge is required. Participants are we
lcome to bring their own scenarios, issues and questions.\n\nPlease registe
r by 16 November 2026. If you wish to join after the registration deadline
has passed, please contact the speaker directly at marieke.roeben@leuphana.
