DESCRIPTION:This 3-hour workshop supports university teachers in dealing wi
 th challenges that arise when planning and facilitating group work in cultu
 rally heterogeneous student groups.\n\nWe will address some typical challen
 ges that might arise in culturally diverse student groups and discuss and e
 xperience possible methods and approaches for dealing with those challenges
 .\n\nWe will also engage in a structured exchange of own interculturally ch
 allenging situations in your teaching practise, using small-group reflectio
 n and peer consultation formats.\n\nYou will leave the workshop with first 
 ideas of how to tackle your own specific interculturally challenging teachi
 ng situations.
