 ere, she is active in the field of chemicals and in the area of internation
 al relations, particularly contacts with EU institutions. Her current work 
 focuses on the European chemicals regulation REACH, the substance group of 
 perfluorinated and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), and, under the headli
 ne “Zero Pollution Ambition,” policy advice on pollution. Furthermore, Lena
  Vierke is involved in the work on the transformation of the chemicals indu
 stry at the agency.\n\nIn this career forum, which is being organized in co
 llaboration with 23grad eV, she will talk about her career path and the pra
 ctical experience that was helpful to her during her studies. She will also
  provide insights into her daily work at the German Environment Agency and
