What lies behind the digital images we see every day? What is are differences among them? What images can be used for what purpose and why? We address all these questions and more during the workshop. We work with the suitable and free alternatives to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and are going to compare the workflow of GIMP and Inkscape within 2 hours. The issues of license, required permissions and safe use of the digital visual material available online is also part of the session.
The venue is the "Schulungsraum" of the university library.
