Dozent/in: Micha Edlich
Termin:
wöchentlich | Donnerstag | 16:15 - 17:45 | 12.11.2015 - 14.01.2016 | intern | Raum: C 5.122
Inhalt: This series of eight workshops is meant as an introduction to academic writing in English for graduate students at Leuphana University. Based on the influential textbook by John M. Sales and Christine B. Feak, these workshops will allow students to explore, practice, and acquire the writing skills they need for their course of studies and for their theses. Prospective participants are very much encouraged to attend all workshops, but they can also select individual sessions depending on their interests and disciplinary backgrounds. The emphasis in this series will be on hands-on exercises and activities that will be useful for graduate students at all levels and from a broad variety of disciplines, but some of the workshops, for example the one on data commentary scheduled for December 3, will be of particular interest to participants working on empirical studies.
