Inhalt: The course Research Methods III deals with the statistical and theoretical background necessary to understand quantitative and qualitative approaches in management and entrepreneurship research. On the quantitative side, we will deal with deductive hypothesis testing, modelling linear relationships, and multivariate analysis. On the qualitative side, we will deal with different types of qualitative data collection (e.g., interview, observation, documentary and digital data) as well as inductive and abductive forms of data analysis. This semester a special focus will be the method of netnography for conducting qualitative research online.
