Inhalt: LECTURE TAKES PLACE IN VIRTUAL FORM, PRACTICAL PART WILL BE POSTPONED (see information given below) After their input into the environment, chemical substances are subject to distribution and are either not degraded at all, partially degraded or completely degraded. If they are not completely degraded, they can have effects on humans and organisms in the environment. Different standard methods for the investigation of environmentally relevant processes along the life cycle of chemical substances will be deepened in practical exercises. In addition, data on the degradation behaviour of substances will be collected from databases in computer exercises or predicted using computer models (QSAR) and compared with experimentally collected data.
