Inhalt: In many applications, OLS regression suffers from bias and fails to provide unbiased estimates of causal effects. Building on the topics covered in the Introduction to Econometrics, this course discusses methods to deal with omitted variable, simultaneous causality, and error-in-variable bias. It further introduces regression models for binary outcomes and gives an introduction to causal inference in microeconometrics, that is the econometric analysis of individual-level data. Contents: 1.
