Faculty Day for Economics and Social Sciences (WiSoFt) at Leuphana

Invited by the Faculties of Public Affairse and Management & Technology at Leuphana University Lüneburg and organised by Prof. Dr. Thomas Wein, the Faculty Day of Economics and Social Sciences (WiSoFt) gathered in Lüneburg on 22 and 23 June and also held its 72nd General Assembly here.

The conference theme was: "Faculties of Economics today and tomorrow - changed role in the educational landscape?". Topics on the agenda included "Transparency of admission conditions to Master's programmes and minimum standards", "ChatGPT from a didactic and legal perspective" and "Future societal demands on university studies in economics".

WiSoFt represents the interests of the approximately 80 member faculties of economics and social sciences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Faculty Association sees its task in taking up important topics at an early stage, drafting statements and working out joint positions. A particular concern of the WiSoFt is to ensure a high standard of the economics degree programmes.
