Digital Production Management: Apply now for the Master's degree program

2023-12-22 Lüneburg. Smart factories, networked supply chains, automated production processes: Today, digital transformation is a key to the sustainable success of companies. The demand for suitably qualified specialists and managers is high. With its part-time, three-semester Master's degree programme in Digital Production Management, the Leuphana Professional School offers a corresponding further education opportunity at an academic level. The programme combines topics such as artificial intelligence, smart factory and supply chain management with comprehensive management expertise. The next programme starts in April 2024 and applications can be submitted until 31 January.

The MBA programme not only provides a sound theoretical foundation, but also offers practical applications. Case studies and working with practice-relevant methods ensure this, as does working in Leuphana's digital learning factory. There, students can try out digital production processes in practice and learn about the effects of even the smallest changes.

In order to optimise their company's production and logistics processes, graduates of the course can make targeted use of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and big data. The degree programme teaches them strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset. This provides them with core competences for shaping digital change and thus the future viability of companies.

Course director Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Schmidt is convinced: "Companies that make optimum use of the potential of digitalisation today can sustainably improve their competitive position, drive innovation and use resources in a more targeted manner. In this respect, the programme leads to a win-win situation for employees and employers."

Prospective students can find out more about the MBA Digital Production Management on 13 January 2024 as part of the Professional School's part-time study information day. Programme coordinator Ulrike Kahlfeldt (dpm@leuphana.de, phone 04131.677-1867) will also be available for personal consultations.
