MondiALLE: Pubquiz & Karaoke "Songs from home"

The tutors of the Self-Access Center (SLZ) warmly invite everyone to a pub quiz and for karaoke music enthusiasts – whether on stage or in the audience – to our event next Friday. The stage is open to everyone so there will be a variety of different music genres. The theme is ‘Songs from home’, and you are especially welcome to sing songs that remind you of home. The evening will also give you the chance to talk to other students in a foreign language and to meet new people.
For a donation drinks will be provided. An international buffet is planned, and we would appreciate if the guests could bring their favorite snacks or dishes.
20,000 Species of Bees - International Evening with the Unikino Lüneburg

Together with the Unikino Lüneburg, the Self-Access Center will show the movie 20,000 Species of Bees (2023), directed by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren. In this Basque family drama, a mother and her three children embark on a trip together in which one of the children seeks both her own identity and the support of her family.
After a short bilingual introduction by the Self-Access Center, the film will be shown in its original version with English subtitles. Admission is free!

Enjoy a piece of cake and some coffee or tea, have a chat with our tutors and lecturers, or feel free to just look around. Not only do we have snacks from a sweet buffet, we also have some linguistic surprises ready for you.
