Personalised counselling for your needs
The Student Counselling Service at Leuphana College and Leuphana Graduate School offers you professional support in all study-related matters. In individual and group counselling sessions, we take the time to answer your questions and counsel you according to your needs. Our counselling services are always free of charge and confidential. You will find different counsellors and services depending on the target group.
Understanding of counselling
The College and Graduate School's counselling services are based on the understanding of counselling and the quality criteria described in the "Principles of general student counselling"
Bachelor's degree programmes and Master's degree programme in teaching
Target group: Prospective Bachelor's students, Bachelor's students, prospective Master's students and Master's students for teacher training programmes
Range of topics: Counselling on choosing a course of study, applying and during the course of studies, e.g. on decision-making, organising learning or planning your future prospects
Location: College, building 8 on the ground floor
Counselling formats:Open counselling takes place on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (on campus) and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (digitally) and can be used at short notice without registration. The scheduled individual counselling takes place on campis, via telephone or Zoom.

Master's degree programmes
Target group: Prospective Master's students and Master's students
Range of topics: Counselling in all phases before and during the Master's degree programme
Location: Graduate School, building 14 on the ground floor
Counselling formats: The scheduled individual counselling takes place on campus, via telephone or Zoom.

Doctorate
Target group: Prospective doctorate students and doctorate students
Range of topics: Counselling on access to doctorate and during your doctoral studies, e.g. on decision making, career planning, etc.
Location: Graduate School, building 14 on the first floor
Counselling formats: The scheduled individual counselling takes place on campus, via telephone or Zoom.

You would like to attend the Open Counselling or have made an appointment, but do not know how to find your way to Leuphana or to the Student Counselling? Below you will find the address of our central campus as well as a map of it, which is also available for download. The Student Counselling Service College is located in building 8. You will find the Student Counselling Graduate School for Masters and Doctorate in building 14.
