Notenbibliothek

The music library offers students of the subject access to numerous sheet music materials (from instrument-specific works to scores of new music), most of which can be borrowed for a period of six weeks.
Sound recordings can be borrowed for one week upon presentation of the signature of the responsible lecturer for the preparation of a performance in the context of a seminar or for the preparation of an examination.

The catalogs of sheet music and sound carriers can be viewed as Excel files:

In addition, the music library is responsible for issuing the overroom chips. These are only available to students of music (teaching, cultural studies and music in childhood) and participants of the ensembles. After a one-time payment of 25 €, the chip must be reactivated at the beginning of each semester. For this purpose, the student ID card must be presented.
Any loss of the chip must be reported immediately to the music library. Any misuse of an overroom chip falls back on the owner of the chip.

If the chip is returned, the chip fee (€12) will only be paid upon presentation of the receipt originally issued with the chip.

An instruction sheet for the use of the Überaumchips can be found here.
