Student thesis & Co.

Dear students, you have the opportunity to publish your own materials either online or in printed form. This applies not only to theses and term papers, but also to other formats such as multimedia projects, posters or seminar reports. Further details can be found below.

  • Online veröffentlichen
  • Gedruckt veröffentlichen
  • Publish online
  • Publish printed

Publish online

Student work such as Bachelor's and Master's theses, term papers and other materials (e.g. podcasts, videos, posters) can be published worldwide free of charge via the repository PubData. All PubData publications are not only visible in the PubData catalogue, but can also be searched via other catalogues and search engines (e.g. Google Scholar). In addition, the materials are archived for the long term and receive a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) so that they can be found and cited permanently.

Requirements

  •  The thesis was written in the context of the Leuphana degree programme.
  •  There is a publication recommendation from the respective lecturer / reviewer. You can use this form.
  •  In the case of qualification theses and term papers, the thesis also needs to be graded better than 2.5. This is also confirmed by the publication recommendation.

Workflow

You can upload your materials to PubData yourself.
This link can be used to submit theses, term papers and other literature publications.
This link can be used to submit alternative formats (e.g. videos, podcasts, posters).

First log in with your Leuphana account, then select the relevant resource type and follow the next steps. You can pause the submission process at any time and continue at a later date. After submitting your work, you will receive a confirmation of submission by email from the PubData team.

After submitting the materials, please send the signed recommendation for publication to: pubdata@leuphana.de. We will then review your submitted information and documents and - if everything is in order - we will approve your work for publication.

Please note

Please remove your matriculation number, postal address and e-mail address from the title page of your thesis before submitting it to PubData. An unprofessional blackening of the information is often not sufficient (e.g. placing a bar over the text) so that the data can be restored and made visible to the public.

Publish printed

Bachelor's and Master's theses can be added to the library's stock in printed form.

Requirements

  • The thesis was written in the context of the Leuphana degree programme.
  • The thesis was graded better than 2.5.

Workflow

Please send a hardbound copy of your thesis together with the signed "Declaration of consent to submit my thesis to the library" by post/house mail to Karen Heckmann, MIZ Leuphana / Publikationsservice, Universitätsallee 1, CB.140, 21335 Lüneburg.

Please note

Please remove your matriculation number, postal address and e-mail address from the title page of the thesis.
